Fabrik Pre-Opening Brick
This brick was the very first promotional brick given out at Legoland Deutschland. This was actually given out before the park opened to the general public. There was a special 'preview night' where only invited guests got in to get a sneak peek of the newest Legoland park. This was only given out to those guests who took the factory tour, so not everybody got one of these.

Fabrik 2002 Brick
This is the first of the regular 'Fabrik' bricks given out at
Legoland Deutschland. During the 2002 season visitors could pick up one of these bricks after
they took the factory tour.
|
New Years Eve 2002 / 2003
This brick was given out on New Years Eve 2002. This proved to be
one of the harder Fabrik bricks to get. Every single of thesebricks I have seen have had more
printing flaws than is normal than on other Fabrik style bricks.
|
Lego Club Day April 2003 Brick
These Lego club day bricks are always hard to get. They are only
given out for a few days to members of the Lego club BEFORE the park had its offical opening for
the season. This brick features Johnny Thunder and was given out in April 2003.
|
Fabrik 2003 Brick
The second year of the 'Fabrik' brick! This is the same story as the
2002 brick pictured above. I would have liked a new design on this brick, but oh well - maybe next
year.
|
Deposit Brick
This brick was given to guests when they purchased a drink in a
bottle at the park. The deposit for the bottles in Germany is quite high and this brick was given
out to guests to ensure that guests did not bring in bottles from outside the park to redeem the high deposit price, you turned in your bottle and the brick and you got your deposit back.
|
Legoland Deutschland's First Birthday Brick
When Legoland Deutschland had its first birthday is when these
bricks were given out to the guests so they could celebrate the park's birthday. From what I
understand these bricks were only given out the one day - May 17th 2003.
|
Cameraman Brick
There is a major mystery about this brick. But from what I have
been told this brick was only given out for about a month and only when you purchased one of
those pictures they take of you when you are on a ride. This has proven to be one of the harder
fabrik bricks to get.
|
Winter 2003 / 2004 Brick
This brick was given out in the 2003 winter season at Legoland
Deutschland as they visited the Lego factory tour room.
|
Lego Club Day March 2004 Brick
As with the previous Lego Club Day brick, this was a very hard brick
to get and only given out for a very short time in the same fashion as the previous year's club
brick. This brick features the often used green dragon and was given out in March 2004.
|
Fabrik 2004 Brick
For the third season the fabrik bricks are made in the same style
and given out in the same fashion the 2002 and 2003 bricks pictured above.
I would have still liked a new design on this brick, but oh well - maybe next year *cough*. This
brick was given out to visitors after they take the Lego Factory Tour in Legoland,
Deutschland.
|
Legoland Deutschland's Second Birthday Brick
When Legoland Deutschland had its second birthday is when these bricks
were given out to the guests so they could celebrate the park's birthday. From what I understand
these bricks were only given out the one day - May 17th 2004.
|
Jahr Der Technik 2004 Brick
Jahr Der Technik
had a traveling exhibition in the summer and autumn in some German cities during 2004. But this
brick was only given out at only one event and some were given out at Legoland Deutschland. Not many
of these made it out to the public because this brick was a mistake and in conflict with the
Lego trademark rules in some way.
|
Halloween 2004 Brick
This was the first brick given out at Legoland Deutschland to
celebrate Halloween. This brick was given out in the same fashion as all the other fabrik bricks
and was given out from October 23rdst 2004.
|
Winter 2004 / 2005 Brick
This brick was given out in the 2004 winter season at Legoland
Deutschland as they visited the Lego factory tour room.
|
Fabrik 2005 Brick
For the fourth season the fabrik bricks are made in the same style
and given out in the same fashion the 2002, 2003 and 2004 bricks pictured above.
I would have still liked a new design on this brick, but oh well - maybe next year (Have I said
this before?). There have been reports that theses bricks are no longer given out at the end of
the factory tour after you get to see the bricks made and decorated. They are now given out at
the beginning of the tour and the machine no longer runs during park hours. It has also been
reported that the alignment of the machine is out of sync with the machine (this is VERY easy to see
at the horrible printing quality seen on the bricks below) and the machine is not being fixed
and maintained as it should be. This is really a shame, I would hope Legoland would not let this
machine get this bad as it only makes the quality of Lego printing look bad in general. I have not
seen a 3rd birthday brick that the printing is even close to being correct.

Allianz Arena Brick
This brick was given out to celebrate the opening of the Legoland
version of the Allianz Arena.
This brick was given out at Legoland Deutschland on May 12th, a few days before the
real Allianz Areana opened up. The LLD areana is the
biggest LEGO building in the world!
A special translucent Lego brick was developed for the model.
With this innovation and with the help of 5,000 LEDs, the stadium can be lit up in
red, white and blue to look almost like the original.
The stadium also features 30,000 mini Lego fans, football
stars’ changing rooms, the arrival area for the team buses and several VIP lounges. In addition,
at the press of a button visitors to the park can activate different animations.
|
Legoland Deutschland's Third Birthday Brick
When Legoland Deutschland had its third birthday is when these bricks
were given out to the guests so they could celebrate the park's birthday. These bricks were only
given out the one day - May 17th 2005. All of the bricks I have seen has had the same
off-printing on the ballons, this is a good example of how bad the printing quality has become.
|
Lego Club Day 2005 Brick
This brick was given out for a short time to Lego Club members in July
of 2005. This brick is another great example of the poor quality bricks Legoland Deutschland is
making. Each of these bricks I have seen either in person or in pictures ALL have horrible
printing quality.
|
Fabrik 2006 Brick
For the fifth season the fabrik bricks are made in the same style
and given out in the same fashion as previous years. From the pictures I have seen of the brick
it looks like they fixed the machine that does the printing on the bricks. If this is true it is
a long overdue and very welcome fix to the printing problems that have been so obvious in the past.
|
Legoland Deutschland's Fourth Birthday Brick
As with the previous birthday bricks this was given out when
Legoland Deutschland celebrated its fourth birthday. These bricks were given out on May
17th 2006. As with the Fabrik brick it looks like they have fixed the major printing
problems that they have had in the past.
|
Lego Club Day 2006 Brick
Legoland Deutschland continues its annual Lego Club Day for 2006 in
the month of July. These bricks were given out only to members of the Lego Club and for a very
short amount of time. A design of a soccer player was used perhaps to celebrate the 2006 World Cup
that took place in Germany.
